Cierrah Archie is originally from Columbia, SC, raised in Atlanta, GA. Miss Archie began her training at Atlanta Ballet at the age of four. She continued dancing at Jacob’s Dance Academy for two years, under the instruction of Miss Jacob and Veronica Johnson, but she settled at Atlanta’s Total Dance Dancical Productions Inc. under Terrie Ajile Axam and Dawn Axam. She attended Carver School of the Arts (New Schools at Carver) as a the Captain of Platinum Dolls dance line. Cierrah continued her post-secondary education at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Miss Archie became a jazz major and studied under Kim Bailey and Zane Booker.
Cierrah served as a principal dancer, (ballet, jazz, modern, hip hop, tap, African, and Mojah) Instructor, and Director of the Teen Espirit Dance Company at Total Dance. She coached and trained The Ladies of Gold at Tucker High School in Tucker, GA. Miss Archie has performed in various performances such as Women Hold Up Half the Sky, Fusion and The Mojah Choreographer’s Conference. She has also performed in the Atlanta Ballet’s The Nutcracker, the Atlanta Hawk’s Halftime Show, and many more.
Miss Archie has received awards such as The Judith Jamison Overall Achievement Award, CADANCO Most Well Rounded Dancer Dace Award and Best Dancer Award (recognition from Atlanta Public Schools). She was honored by the Governor of Georgia as the first person to go to the Governor’s Honor’s Program (GHP) from her high school Carver School of the Arts for dance.
Cierrah Archie has been dancing for twenty-one years and has been instructing for ten years. She plans to continue her craft through the youth and inspire the world with her passion for dance.
